    This production relates to an insulating package primarily for refrigerated or frozen foods.
    Prior art
    The technique used in this production is known from, for example, double glazing, where an enclosed air space between the glass surfaces provides a high thermal insulation.
    The technical problem to be solved When the outdoor temperature is high, it becomes problematic to transport refrigerated and frozen products. The problem is known in our latitudes primarily in the summer, but in many other countries with higher average temperatures it is a daily problem. Therefore, to protect the food during transport, a special insulating transport packaging can be used. Without this, the goods can quickly thaw in the heat, and in some cases, the goods will be destroyed.
    There are known packaging solutions on the market which typically include the use of a secondary packaging made of foamed polystyrene ("Styropor", "Flamingo"). There are also a number of dedicated transport packaging in the form of thermo bags and boxes.
    The new technique
    The new feature of this generation is that a primary package is made up of an inner part (4) which is joined to an outer part (3), between which a cavity (6) creates the desired insulation.
    The insulation thus becomes an integral part of the primary packaging, and the entire packaging appears in one homogeneous material.
    In addition, the packaging can be sealed with a membrane (5), thereby further establishing an insulating cavity (7) between membrane (5) and lids (1).
    The product / food will thus be completely enclosed by an insulating air layer.
